Property managers using EliseAI report useful leasing help, but some residents hate the maintenance bot
Complaints included piles of work orders and status messages that didn't match reality.
What they did
In a r/PropertyManagement thread asking who uses EliseAI, managers shared what it's like day to day.
How it went
Per the thread, some found it useful for leasing and greeting prospects. Others reported the bot asking residents to submit work orders so often that one office got 20+ a day, adding wrong text to closed work orders, and saying a work order was placed when it wasn't created for 6+ hours. One manager said, 'our residents hate it.'
Worth knowing
AI maintenance intake needs constant knowledge-base updates and someone watching the tickets it creates. Budget staff time for that.
