A landscaper with ADHD found ChatGPT fine for writing but no help staying organized
The best advice he got wasn't another AI tool: one list, one calendar, one folder, and AI only for drafting.
What they did
u/NonArus runs a three-person landscaping business, has kids, and has ADHD. Invoices, quotes, emails and notes were scattered everywhere. He tried ChatGPT and said it's "fine for writing stuff" but didn't help with organization, and Notion was too hard to set up.
How it went
The top reply said to skip new tools and build one simple capture system: Google Calendar for reminders, one Drive folder per customer, one spreadsheet with a next-follow-up date on every job, and ChatGPT only to draft follow-ups and turn notes into emails. Then check only today's follow-ups each morning.
Worth knowing
This is a common, honest result. AI writes well but won't organize a business that has no single place for information. Fix the list first.
